My Mom and I just returned from a Real Deals Convention held in Ohio. This is the second convention that we have attended for Real Deals. Last years convention was also held in Ohio. This year we spent 2 days in Seville and 4 days in Sandusky, Ohio. Convention ran from Monday to Thursday night so we had a little time on Friday before we caught our flight so we went to Kirtland. Last year during convention we snuck away to Kirtland and was able to take the tour of the street preserved there but ran out of time and could not take the tour of the temple. So, this year we decided to head back so we could take the temple tour. But again we missed the tour and didn't have time to wait for the next one. So, we got to see the temple but we'll have to try again to get in. My mom has been in the Kirtland temple so she was bummed that I couldn't get in to see what an amazing structure the Saints built. The best part of convention was spending time with a vendor we use Kyle and him being gracious enough to let ALL of us tour his beautiful house. I learned so much from Kyle and he sent me home inspired and ready to work hard!! We missed Char on this trip and hope she can come next time. Real Deals owners did say we would no longer hold convention on conference weekend which is also during Sterlings birthday.
