Great News From China

Many people have asked me about what is going on with adoptions since the huge earthquake in China. I was hoping that it meant it would speed up adoptions but this is not the case. The great news is that it WILL NOT slow down our adoption process. Currently the wait time is 28-29 months to get our daughter from China. This time frame started in January of 2008 so it will be 28-29 months from this time. It seems like forever but we know this is where our daughter is. I have been trying really hard to talk myself into a normal adoption but just cant get myself sold on the idea. So, it must not be right for us at this time. So we will continue to wait. China is in desperate need of money not only for the earthquake victims but our adoption agency's current project is to sponsor the orphanages with car seats. They currently do not have any. So if you want to make any donations let me know and I can help you do it. Its currently $65.00 to sponsor a car seat and whatever you can afford to help the earthquake victims. All is a 100% tax write off.
