FAITH
We knew when we started this adoption that it would take a great deal of faith because we just finished our adoption of Louvee and haven't had the chance to save the needed almost $30,000 for this adoption. Luckily an anonymous $10,000 donation was made for Joel's adoption and we are hoping to raise $8,000 more and we feel like we can come up with the remainder of the money in time. It has been so hard to ask for help to bring home our sweet boy. But we have really felt like this may be our only way to make it all happen. So with advice from a sweet friend we have set up a GoFundMe account. Below is what is posted on that site and a link if anyone would like to help us bring Joel home. We are so thankful to all of you for your love and support.
We are in the process of bringing home our third child from China. We met Joel when we were in China a year ago and had no idea he would be our son. My oldest son felt an instant connection to him, so we have talked about and followed Joel for the last year. We were so excited when we all realized that Joel was our little boy. Joel has a severe heart condition that requires surgery in the United States. We are working very hard to bring him home as quickly as possible so he can get the medical care he needs. We have exhausted our savings on our previous adoptions but know Joel is our son and feel the money will work out in the end. We appreciate any amount that anyone can donate to help bring Joel home.
