Michael D. Sexton 1949 ~ 2009 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, step-father, brother-in-law, friend and mentor, Michael D. Sexton, passed away on March 9, 2009 after a brief but valiant fight with cancer. He was 59. Michael was in the car business for 30 years becoming a mentor and teacher to many.Michael is survived by his wife, Suzanne; daughter, Amy; son, Joseph (Tania); five grandsons: Jake, Riley, Bryce, Jackson, and Ty; two step-children: Melissa Adamy and James Adamy, several sisters and brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless number of friends. A special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. We will live everyday with Michael's favorite saying. "It's the things you do that you don't have to do that will always make the difference." You will be missed, Michael D! Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
Michael was Jeff's mentor in the car business and took him under his wing early on and taught Jeff all he needed to know. Mike was a great friend to both of us and really cared about us and our lives. Mike will be greatly missed.
