We didn't get to go and tour the Birds Nest but we did drive by it a couple of times.
At the Silk Factory we got to see from start to finish how they make silk. It was an amazing process.
Here are the silkworms and their cocoons in all different sizes. Different size cocoons make different types of silks.
Then they pull and stretch the silk, here they are making bedding.
After this we went and watch an acrobat show, truly talented people doing unbelievable things but we couldn't take pictures so I cant share it with you, sorry!!
This ends our official tour day #1.
