We had more than a little trouble actually getting to Aruba. Our flight from SLC to Dallas was smooth sailing but once we got to Dallas we were screwed. At first our flight to Miami was delayed 30 or so minutes which was going to make it tight beings that our layover to Aruba was only 50 minutes. So we hung tight until the delays kept coming. They say all flights were delayed due to tornadoes but the weather looked great so who knows. Anyway to make a way long story short we were stuck in Dallas for over 8 hours and we were pissed. Hence the lovely picture. Why were we pissed you say well, we missed our flight to Aruba and did not get to Miami until about 11pm at night and we started our day at 3:00am to be on our first flight by 6:00am. We had to stay overnight in the Airport. I didn't know the Miami airport had a hotel but it does. We ate awesome hotel/airport food that was luckily comped for our troubles that day. We did get the wonderful treat of no luggage. So we got to wake up at 5am with no shower or even a brush for the hair to start the next part of our journey.
