One of McKades favorite things about living behind Uncle is the PUPPIES. Uncle is good for a litter of puppies several times a year. The puppies come and Uncles tells Mc to pick one out and then mom is the bad guy who says no. But they are fun and cute and Kian loved them to this year.
Kian didn't know what to think about Tillie when we first got home but it didn't take long and he was in love with dogs just like McKade. Kian learned to bark like a dog before he said any words other than Mama. Its so cute to hear him bark and call the dogs while he pats his leg.
A very exciting thing happened at the Lots home at the end of April. Kian learned to crawl. Jen kept telling me he needed to crawl and how important it was but I didn't get it. It didn't take long to learn why crawling is so important. They cant stand up like normal kids, they cant do stairs, etc. Once Kian learned to crawl everything else physically just fell into place. But teaching him to crawl was not easy. Early Intervention came in and helped us but in the end it was McKade using the skills they taught us who taught Kian how to crawl. Mc played on these big balls with Kian and then put Kian under him while they both crawled together and within a week of this Kian was crawling. Mc teaches Kian more than all of us put together. Probably because he is so patient.
It did feel weird to work so hard at crawling when Kian could walk but I am glad he learned and feel like it was very important in his growth and development. Kian is learning so fast and catching up so quickly. We love to watch him learn and mimic behaviors, he is a pure joy in our home.
