Last Day of 1st Grade

The last day of school McKades program put on a wonderful program for all of the parents.  They sang tons of song and memorized so many poems.

Each day they recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang America the Beautiful.  Thanks Mrs. Q for teaching my son the importance of being an American.  I am not going to lie I cried in both my parent teacher meetings this year.  Mrs. Q was amazing and I am so thankful we had the privileged of being in her classroom this year.

They had the same class this year and it was lots of FUN!!

McKade in front of his new school.  He went last year but this year they got it 100% completed Windmills and all.

Where does time go, Mc is moving on to 2nd grade.

We love you McKade and we are so proud of you and all your hard work in school.

So, pictures in the Fall were horrible.  Ginny tried to redo them and still no good.  Then in the Spring Ginny took this one and it was much better so we bought this one.  We had no idea it was picture day and Dad got them off to school this year while Mom worked hence the outfit but at least his hair looks great. (Ginny works for Bell Photography)

They made Rice Babies this year and McKade thought it was awesome and went to school sick as a dog just to get it.  He told us he felt fine and didn't and stayed home the rest of the week sicker than a dog.
